Joint presentation to scouts in Buckingham by Rotary and Rotaractors. This follows successful meeting with guides on 6th February. Aim is to show that working together for the benefit of the community can be fulfilling and FUN!
Powerpoint pres. to demonstrate size of Rotary worldwide-power of membership ie international projects;
moving onto local community support. Rotaract club- members of club explain advantages of membership and year's programme.
Ask for support-World Book Day highlighting all local services to those who do not have functional literacy.
Rotary's involvement with Buckingham Talking Newspaper and invitation for scouts to visit recording session and write and record an article about themselves.
Demonstration of audio tape.
support patrol groups as they discuss what they can do to support Rotary initiative.
