The next few days are clear of Rotary Club visits. Just a Conference Meeting scheduled for Thursday 9th.
Today (Wednesday) I am taking my nephew by to University in Leicester. It's always good to spend time with my niece and nephew, they are 19 years old so you can imagine have lots to say and always have an opinion to share! Sam is studying Journalism, who knows whether they'll be an jobs at the end of his course but at least he has a plan... my niece Beverly is definitely Rotary focused - she regular helped Hitchin Tilehouse with Lend-a-Hand and having moved now to the Orkney Islands (she is a nanny) has already worked out where the Rotary Clubs meet - won't be long before we get her to join!!
Thursday sees me restart my teaching scedule at North Hertfordshire College. By and large it's really good fun 17 & 18 year olds studying sport science; I teach sport massage to them. Remember if it's a Thursday and you want to get hold of me you'll have to wait until after 4:30pm - just leave me a message!
Conference meeting was productive and most of the team were present. We are going to Scarborough at the end of October to check out floor space and catering. It's really coming together and it won't be long before we post the Conference programme onto our Website; I'll be sure to let your Club know when it's available.
Friday this week is relatively free. I say relatively because of course the telephone and electronic communications always need attention, but with no other commitments it's good to have a catch up day - I'm still trying to keep that inbox under control so a blitz will work well...
This weekend is work free; time to sort out the garden and get a few jobs completed at home. Sunday we have a trip to Northampton to meet up with old friends so that will be good, real time to relax and have fun.
more I'm sure next week...
