I thought it might amuse and maybe even interest a few of our members to know what life is like in the position of District 1260 Governor. My intention is to write about my daily comings and goings (usually from a Rotary perspective but who knows!). Today is actually day 12 so I'll give you a bit of history first...
The road to District Governorship can be a bit bumpy at times and over the past two years I have attempted to work with the members of District 1260 who will be leading our Clubs and those who support our service activities. To do this much planning and preparation was undertaken - a goodly amount of work but extremely rewarding overall. Seminars were held for the 2010/11 Presidents and Training sessions undertaken for the District Teams.
