As Guy and Wendy prepare to set off today (Thursday) we thought we'd give you some background to the car and preparations.
The car was bought from a friend just before it
went to the rubbish tip. Guy, who knows about cars, did some work on the lights
and body work and despite a rather limited clutch operation, they hope it will
get them there. despite a rather limited clutch operation, they hope it will
get them there.
The painting of the car was arranged by the
Stevenage Grange Rotary Club, which as you can see from the pictures looks

The SHELTERBOX project is administered through the Rotary Club of Helston-Lizard. It is distributed through Aid Agencies and Rotary Clubs closest to the disaster areas. Most of the funding comes as donations from Rotary Clubs around the world, as well as other organisations and individuals who have given great support to the project. All the sponsorship money and donations that are raised will go to shelterbox. The entire trip, the car and the hotel costs are being paid for by Wendy and Guy.
