This year the District Awards are being presented at Conference during the OSCAR themed gala dinner on Saturday 18th June.
During the conference, we will be showcasing on the 'big-screen' great projects and club service that has taken place this year. Our IT Team will assist in putting the Club presentations together, all you have to supply is some text and of course those great pictures that paint a thousand words!
Take a look at the Award Criteria and submit your Club nominations to the specialist Service Chair or

District Governor Amanda challenged us to develop a hands on fun project for Conference - in which every club can take part.
It's an opportunity for you to celebrate and show off your year. We intend to build a wall of Club Celebration Pictures.
Each club will have the display area of one A1 card in Landscape.
We would love it if clubs who are not able to come to Conference also provided a Club Celebration Picture. So it doesn't get damaged during your journey, we suggest that you finally assemble the picture at Scarborough - we will provide materials and there will be time on the Saturday during lunch and the afternoon.
For full details go to the District Website or download the Big Picture Project Guide from: http://tinyurl.com/Big-Picture-Guide

How quickly another month has gone by, the team visit to Scarborough saw yet more beautiful weather on the North Yorks coast …… thank goodness we went early this month not last thing, hey ho this June will be clear and warm (or your Conference Chairman will need a shoulder to cry on and broad shoulders to take the flack…..!!)
It’s now all about pinning down the detail to ensure a fabulous fun filled weekend and I am so grateful for the work being undertaken by Barton and Ampthill clubs on the World of Rotary Opportunities and the Conference Help for Heroes project - dynamic team work and a wonderful commitment from individuals, thanks guys and gals you know who you are!
