Additional Rotary Day & End Polio Now materials Print E-mail
Written by Stephen Sypula

t4lcollectingtinlabel_011.jpgStevenage Grange  has come up with a collecting tin 'label' and a template to use for briefing School Councils. Both feature on the RIBI/T4L website under 'For Rotarians'. - See 14th Feb update below

In addition to the national wrapper produced by DG Stewart Gilbert of the T4L Team (see below) we mow have a local End Polio Now focussed ‘tin’ wrapper with a key message saying Each £1 you donate protects 5 children. In all instances the artwork will fit on an A4 sheet.  It will also do for ‘buckets’, but obviously may not go right around. The national files are available as a jpeg picture and a medium resolution pdf file. Both need a bit of trimming perhaps to fit your tins, but here are templates for your Club to cut and paste to suit.  The high res .pdf is 26mb so only for commercial bods really.

For the lower resolution jpeg (170kb) click here.   If you are printing locally why not simply crop the bits you want to show and print from there.  If you require a higher print resolution click here

Past President of the Grange, Russell Ball … a recently retired Secondary Head and Director of the Stevenage Schools 14-19 Partnership, has produced a briefing for Senior School councils inviting their participation.  Reproduced as a generic template Clubs who have yet to approach their secondary schools may find this of use.

The first batch of orders for the mounted posters supporting the programme are now awaiting despatch  - see earlier article.  Further orders are now invited for delivery in early February.  Email us now with your order and send the cheque soonest.

4th Feb: DG Sandy will have some spare A5 End Polio Now leaflets and I have a few A2 posters left. Both will be brought along to District Council on the 17th. There is still just time to order mounted posters from Stevenage Grange. Thanks, Stephen.

A Thought...

glennestessl.jpg"One of the most wonderful things about Rotary is that it allows you to be part of something so much larger than yourself."

Glenn E. Estess Snr., RI President 2005.

Nothing Changes...

paul-harris.jpg"I would like to think that the pioneering days of Rotary have only just begun. There are just as many new things to be done as ever there were. Kaleidoscopic changes are taking place, many of them without our will. Even to hang on to the fringe of this fast-changing world is about all most of us can do. Rotary simply must continue to pioneer or be left in the rear of progress."

Paul Harris - The Rotarian February 1945
