Friday morning I drove to Hitchin for a catch up with one of our GSE Team members Natalie Sullivan. We chatted about what her experience might be like in New Orleans, the opportunities she has to develop her vocational knowledge and the cultural exchange that will be part of this overall adventure. It was lovely to be with such an enthusiasic person and I know she along with her team mates will have a superb time in October. Don't forget to ask them to come and talk to your Club when they return home; contact Team Leader Pamela Burns on

to book a presentation. Most of my 'free' time is spent on the computer; answering emails, researching Rotary, developing the business or just generally mooching around the internet. This weekend has been no different with the exception that I have to admit to indulging in not one but TWO afternoon naps! That's the sort of thing my granddad did - what's happening to me!!! Do you know what though, I felt great afterwards - full of energy and ready to get back on those emails once again... Sunday was a family day - my niece is moving to the Orkney Islands so my sister arranged a lovely family meal for us all to wish her well and to congratulate her brother on a super first year at university. So, it would seem that a District Governor can have a life and stay in touch with their family...!
