We were a very privileged club as Santa asked us to tow him around Bletchley and Newport Pagnell to allow the children to see him and so that Santa could ask them if they had been good!
The first Sunday around Bletchley Poets estate must have been one of the wettest on record. Poor Santa was wet through to his long johns and the collector elves were a very sodden unhappy lot. Their spirits were cheered by the generosity of the people of Bletchley, who piled coins and notes into the collecting tins in aid of MK Snap.
The following Sunday we took Santa out again to the Poets estate in Newport Pagnell and this night was thankfully dry but very cold and icy and not to be outdone the residents of Newport added even more to the elves collecting tins. Two wonderful evenings, in spite of the rain and ice. To be repeated we hope next year. Thank you to Milton Keynes Round Table for the loan of their sleigh and for all their help. See all the pictures here.
