14 Steps to a New Rotary Club |

Bob Stewart put together this simple list of 14 Steps to form a newvibrant Rotary Club.
- Decide on locality for the new club
- Survey using a local contact
- Identify up to 10 prospective members
- Hold Interest Meeting when the group will choose :-
- Dress Code
- Meeting night
- Meeting time
- Refreshment & Room layout
- Venue
- Database Info inc. e-mail
- Next meeting and frequency
- Recruitment
- After meeting send e-mail of
- Welcome
- Minute
- Notice of next meeting
- When signed up numbers hit 10 - send completed Ext.06 forms to RIBI
- Speakers - Life Talks, friends and maybe some Rotarians.
- Decide on name of new club
- When numbers reach 16 - Nominations and Ballot
- When numbers at 20 (min for Charter) - Plan the Inaugural
- By Inaugural try to have 24 in club - Meeting chaired by DG. All sign up.
- Within 2 months the club organise their Charter Presentation
- Year in Care from the date of Charter
- 1 year later - transfer to District Membership Services
All this needs to make ithappen is
